Alot of people out there don’t really know when people are certified by Microsoft to fix your PC. If you’d like to find out a bit more about the IT world you can visit this page on Microsoft Certification and whats involved to become certified.

There are lots of different certifications available for a range of different subjects. There are people who will specialise in Desktop Support, Databases, Servers and a whole range of different topics.

If you need to know if the guy fixing your computer is Microsoft certified ask him/her to show you there Microsoft ID card!

I was looking for an HDMI cable this afternoon for on of my customers, I needed a quick cable so I nipped down to one of those large electrical retailers and to my surprise they wanted £99 for a cable - LMAO. I was told it was £99 because it was better quality than a scart cable (hmmmm). Anyway I managed to pick one up from Silicon for £94 cheaper! Thats right same cable for £5.

If your in the market for a free operating system why not check out Ubuntu, this is a linux based operating system and unlike Windows its FREE. You can download a “Live” CD which means you can try it out without installing it.

It will perform all the functions of your Windows machine (its even got a free office suite bundled in - Open Office). from WIFI to printing.

It works really well and will read Windows Partitions too!

Ive been playing Fable 2 on the Xbox 360 for a few days now and it seems the real estate business is booming in the Albion.

In your normal game buy a few buildings and set the rent to 100% +, save the game and go back to the Xbox dashboard.

Disconnect from XBox Live (whip the ethernet cable out or disconnect your WIFI). Change the system time to 2025.

Load up your saved game, wait a few seconds then “BOOM” lots of money! This is the rent your bulding has built up over the 17 years you have not been playing the game ;).  Now go and buy lots more buildings. Save the game and go back to the Xbox dashboard. Change the system time to 2005. Load up your saved game, wait a few seconds then nothing… you dont get your rent backdated. Save the game again and go back to the Xbox dashboard. Change the system time to 2025. Load up your saved game, wait a few seconds then “BOOM” lots of money!

Now save the game, go to the dash board, change the system time back to normal, reconnect to Xbox live and load up your game as normal. Free Gold

About 2 Million should be enough to see you through the game (Fairfax castle costs 1 million).

It has an easy to use setup interface and its pretty quick to open ports too.

If like me you like the odd game on the Xbox this router works fine with Xbox Live.
